ADAMS COUNTY SOLID WASTE

January 1, 2011

Wisconsin’s Recycling Law has been in effect for over two decades now.  Since then, we have been asking citizens to take part in recycling all mandatory items.  Many of you have been recycling and we appreciate your efforts.  For those of you who haven’t, we will now be enforcing the law and may be issuing citations.  You will be getting red tags on your containers if we see that improvement needs to be made.

If you have any questions on how to properly recycle, please check our website at www.co.adams.wi.govand click on the Solid Waste Department tab.  You may also call for information at the landfill office at 608/339-9178.

Remember that the items listed below must be recycled and can’t go into your garbage/trash bags.  Please also remember that you must use clear or see-thru bags so that we can inspect your recyclables and garbage to make sure you are recycling properly.
